APPLYING FOR A PASSPORT ONLINE
COME TO US FOR A PHOTO!
We send your passport photo electronically directly to the police. You’ll immediately receive a text message with a photo ID code (valid for 6 months) that you’ll need when submitting your application!
APPLY ONLINE
You can find the application form at https://asiointi.poliisi.fi. Enter the photo ID code we sent you, pay for the passport, and choose a pickup location. The delivery time for the passport is 5–8 working days, depending on demand!
COLLECT YOUR PASSPORT
Your passport will be delivered to the service point you selected. You will receive a notification once your passport is ready for pickup. When collecting your passport, you must prove your identity (a driver’s licence is not accepted) and show the delivery code. You can also authorize another person to collect your passport — the applicant must have a valid identity document.
