APPLYING FOR A PASSPORT ONLINE
COME TO US FOR YOUR PHOTO!
We send your passport photo electronically directly to the police. You’ll immediately receive a photo retrieval code by text message (valid for 6 months), which you need when submitting your application!
APPLY ONLINE
Fill in your application online at https://asiointi.poliisi.fi. Enter the photo retrieval code we sent you, pay for your passport, and choose a pickup location. Delivery time for the passport is typically 5–8 working days, depending on demand!
COLLECT YOUR PASSPORT
The passport will be delivered to the service point you selected. You’ll receive a notification when it’s ready for pickup! When collecting your passport, you must prove your identity (a driver’s licence is not accepted) and show the delivery code. You can also authorise another person to collect your passport — the applicant must have a valid ID card.
